Design Process and Fabrication
An early version of the grid system and pattern samples used for the final labels. The grid system for the labels used squares to reference the recurring motif. The motif is drawn from the form of the bottles and the box itself.
We fabricated the prototype package for the bottles using acrylic and baltic birch plywood, cut with a laser cutter. The acrylic box was designed with the intent of displaying all sides of each label while packaged.
The process of laser cutting the Fior logo onto the baltic birch plywood lid. The woodcut look of the logo adds a feeling of craftsmanship to the product. Fabricated in DePaul University's Idea Realization Lab.
